Biomass Briquettes / Bio Coal
At Patel Energy, we make our briquettes from sustainable biomass generated from the harvest and manufacturing of other wood products. We purchase biomass from a variety of suppliers including large sawmill companies, harvesting contractors, farmers in a variety of forms including sawdust and agriculture biomass.
What is biomass briquette or bio coal ?
Biomass briquettes are a biofuel substitute to coal and charcoal. Briquettes are made (using the same principal of compression while making wood pellet) from compressed organic matter or biomass, sawdust, agro residues. Biomass briquettes are sticks or blocks with large diameter and different shapes (hexagon, cylinder, cuboid, etc.) made by biomass briquette machines. Briquettes are similar to wood pellets, but physically larger. Sizes vary but briquettes can vary in diameter from around 50 mm to 100 mm +. Briquettes are usually between 60 mm and 150 mm in length.
They can offer a cleaner, more consistent alternative to firewood logs and coal, offering higher energy density and steady combustion. They are primarily for industrial use for heating.
Biomass Briquettes are a renewable, clean-burning and cost-effective alternative energy source for heat and power generation.
Why briquettes are economical?
It replaces expensive and pollutive fossil fuels such as diesel, furnace oil, coal, LPG, natural gas-based systems into a biomass-based system, which is economical, carbon neutral, clean and sustainable.
